11 Amazing Outschool Classes That Make Me Excited for Kids

As someone who loves education, I can’t help but be blown away by all the amazing classes on Outschool. There are so many fun and interesting topics that make me wish I could be a kid again and join in on the fun learning!

Outschool is full of creative and inspiring classes that I would have loved as a child – and, if I’m being honest, I still want to take them now!

11 Outschool Classes I Wish I Could Take

If only I were 30 years younger, I’d be first in line for these amazing Outschool classes! As a Montessori teacher, I’m constantly inspired by creative and engaging learning opportunities, and these classes float my boat!

1. Astronomy and Outer Space Explorers

In this ongoing astronomy class, students explore the wonders of the Universe, from distant stars to enigmatic quasars. Each week offers engaging content and even an optional handout, turning complex concepts into accessible learning. This course is great to get kids exploring their interests during the school year, on holiday breaks from school, or for beating the summer brain drain.

This class sounds out of this world to me! As someone who loves the cosmos, I know this is a fantastic way to explore the vast universe and ignite a lifelong passion for astronomy. Sign me up!

2. Harry Potter and the Cursive Writing Class

I find mythical creatures fascinating and would love to be able to draw them or even create my own. This class seems perfect for honing my artistic skills and bringing my imaginative visions to life. Too bad it’s only for ages 9-13!

In this ongoing weekly class, students will enjoy a picture book read-aloud followed by a creative session where they build something related to the story using LEGO bricks. Storytime and building with LEGOs – what could be more fun? I’d totally jump at the chance to take this class myself! It’s the perfect blend of reading and hands-on creativity, helping kids bring stories to life while boosting their building skills.

10. The Anthropology of Minecraft: Civilizations

In this live interactive class, students will explore anthropology using Minecraft as a learning tool.
